2013 Celebrity Championship hosted by Marshall Faulk:  Event A Huge Success

Former MLB pitching star Mark Mulder wins 15^th Annual Celebrity Championship

SAN DIEGO – The Celebrity Championship Golf Tournament hosted by Marshall Faulk had yet another successful year, over the weekend May 17-19 at La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad. Thousands of spectators and sports enthusiasts from throughout Southern California area attended the star-studded event. The tournament featured over 50 celebrities from the NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB as well as Olympians and stars from television and motion pictures. Celebrities including Marshall Faulk, Ray Romano, Brian Baumgartner, Marcus Allen, Jerry Rice, Rollie Fingers, Jermaine Dye and many more, contributed in giving their time and support at this year’s Celebrity Championship.

Mark Mulder 2013 Celebrity Championship Golf Tournament Champion

Former MLB pitcher and current ESPN Analyst Mark Mulder posted a final-round 71 (-1) for a two-day total of 145 (+1) to claim the 2013 Celebrity Championship by two strokes over former NHL player Bernie Nicholls.  It was also announced that the tournament raised $125,000 for the Junior Seau Foundation and Marshall Faulk Foundation.
